Dear SeisComP community,

we have release SeisComP 7.2 today. Beside the documented changes the following fix is maybe the most important one for new and existing users: when using a Wayland compositor with your Linux desktop, scconfig did not allow to drag and drop a binding profile to a network / station. It was not only a annoying situation but also left users clueless behind on how to solve it. I hope that this issue is now a thing of the past and that this basic functionality is enabled again for all users.

Please do not upgrade yet to 7.2 and keep using 7.1.2. A severe bug has been identified in scevent which prevents it from creating new events correctly. We are currently working on a fix and will provide 7.2.1 as soon as possible.

I am sorry for inconveniences caused and will inform you when the new version is available.

SeisComP 7.2.1 is available which fixes the issue.
